No Weld Required for Spinformed Tube End Profiles

NILES, MI – Formitt Metal Labs, Division of Hess Industries, Inc. will feature their No Welding tube Spinforming technology at the National Manufacturing Week Trade Show to be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL, September 23 – 25.

Formitt Metal Labs specializes in Spinforming complex tube end profiles that eliminate the cost associated with dies, stamping end-cones and welding operations. This technology is particularly applicable when elements, like catalytic / filtration devices are inserted into the tube and one or both ends are spun down.

Spinforming end-profiles enhances the integrity of the part as well as appearance. Formitt has developed Spinforming processes for concentric, offset and oblique tube end profiles for round, oval and triangular shaped tube.
