Hess Industries, Inc. and Formitt Metal Labs Hold 2007 International Sales Summit

Niles, MI – Hess Industries, Inc. and Formitt Metal Labs, leading providers of metalforming solutions, recently hosted the 2007 International Sales Summit, “Growth through Globalization”. The conference was held October 24-27 2007 at Hess Industries corporate headquarters in Niles, MI.

The annual summit is a distinctive event intended for application and sales engineers and operational managers. More than 40 employees traveled from across the globe to attend the three-day conference focusing on the latest developments in the metalforming industry.

This year’s summit featured keynotes and workshops by Dave Zenger, Hess Industries CEO, Mike Walker, V.P. of Sales and Marketing, and an array of economic and technical specialists. Sessions addressed the company’s corporate strategic vision, 2008 sales goals objectives and strategies, market and economic outlook, global customer service, international customer bank finance and updates in technology.

Summit participants were also presented technical briefings in demand flow sheet metal fabrication and assembly systems, shaft straightening, circular and tubular metal forming, weld control, product development and prototyping.
