Concentric Tube Spinner

Purpose

To form a reduced end profile that is concentrically aligned with the tube’s central axis.

Description

This machine will be equipped with a high-speed headstock assembly including a re-circulating headstock lube system, and is equipped with a spindle nose fitted with a part work holding chuck. Interchangeable collets allow rapid changeover for various part diameters.

The roller slide assembly will be hydraulically actuated allowing rapid travel speeds, and high force values.

A tailstock assembly with Hess Patented Length Control can provide accurate part length compensation for varying material parameters (when producing tube based products). This tailstock also includes an additional axis for insertion of an inner cone if required.

All Hess spinformers use CNC control systems for easy programming, and rapid part profile changeover.
