Purpose

To form straight metal bars into circles.

Description

The Hess Coiler produces bands with short circumferential flats, rendering them most suitable for butt-welding operation. This machine produces bands without helical spiral shape (mismatch at weld area) due to frame rigidity and double-end support of all forming rolls.

The Coiler includes feeding rolls, entry guide system, automatic unloader and exit chute, providing the customer with a turnkey mini-system.
