Double-End Rollformers
The advantages of double-end rollformers are:

• Upper rollshaft is supported on both ends
• Lower shafts equally absorb rolling force
• Better control of the rolling process
• Lower tooling can be closer to actual part inside diameter
• Easy automatic loading and unloading of parts

Open-End Rollformers
The advantages of open-end rollformers are:

• Easy manual loading and unloading
• Can be automatically or manually loaded and unloaded
• Easy access to tooling area for changeover
• Less cost than a double-end machine
• Easy to maintain
