Purpose

This station automatically pre-sizes the incoming shell to the calculated dimension provided by the substrate assembly station.

Description

This unit has exchangeable tooling segments to provide various diameter capabilities within a given range. This unit is also equipped with a quick change head assembly (expanding cone and master jaws) to provide for the complete diameter range of the cell. One head will accommodate from 6” diameter to a maximum of 10” diameter and is included. A second head can be purchased to provide capacity from 4” to 6” diameters as an option.
