Cornering Fatigue Machine

Purpose

The cornering fatigue machine tests the cornering fatigue of a wheel (rim and disc) assembly.

Description

Some of the standard features of the cornering fatigue machine include:

Sturdy steel frame, with anchoring pads (to facilitate anchoring the machine to the floor)
Load shaft made from 4130 steel for extra strength
Load capacity: 7500 lbs-ft
Wheel size capacity: 12" to 22" diameter
Reversible spindle (spindle rotation direction can be changed)
Precision closed loop loading system maintains the load to within +/- 1% of the load set point
Safety hook interlock prevents the operator from opening the hood while the spindle is turning
Gas cylinder assisted hood lift
460 vac, 3 phase, 60 Hz operation
