Deburr Machine

Purpose

The purpose of the deburr machine is to use circular brushes to deburr the inside of a cast aluminum wheel including the breaking of the edges of the machined pockets and/or windows or the curb side of the wheel. The machine can be manually loaded/unloaded or automated by using a robot.

Description

Each deburr is designed to process one wheel every 20 to 30 seconds. Cycle time is dependent on wheel geometry and desired results. The deburr machine is also equipped to utilize an external dust control system.

The deburr machine cycles automatically and performs in-process pressure sensing, ensuring proper brush pressure to optimize brush life and the quality of the deburr process. Manual brush head changeover is required for compatibility with different wheel geometry.

The deburr machine has been engineered to be compatible with a great number of wheel designs and brush manufacturers.
