Purpose

The flowforming cell flowforms forged aluminum rims for heavy truck wheels.

Description

The flowformer cell consists of an entry conveyor, a load/unload robot, a 4-axis CNC horizontal flowforming machine, an electrical control system, a pneumatic system, a machine lubrication system, a hydraulic system, and a tooling coolant system. Forged aluminum rims can be processed in either the cold or hot state.
