Wheel Assembly Welding System

The Wheel Assembly Welding System can be configured in many different ways from manual to fully automatic. This system is built around two main machines: the Assembly Press and the Assembly Welder. The assembly press assembles the rim and disc very accurately to insure low radial and lateral runout. Once the two components are pressed together the assembly is placed into the assembly welder. This machine is typically configured with four welding torches to weld the disc into the rim. This machine can also be configured to assembly weld full face wheels using special tooling to locate the rim and disc in the assembly welder.
