Wheel Assembly Press

Purpose

The wheel assembly press presses a disc into a rim after the disc and rim have been pre-assembled.

Description

Two hydraulic cylinders raise and lower the platen; one pneumatic cylinder raises and lowers the pilot. A tool transfer assists tool change operations.

Most critical joints, slides, bearings and pivot points are lubricated by a centralized automatic lubrication system; however, there are manual lubrication points which require service.
