Our Field Service Technicians are also available to travel worldwide for support to our international customers.

The table below shows the current field service rates (effective 1.1.08).

Non-Labor Charges
Meals
Meal charges are incurred on a per diem basis on a full day service call only unless arranged differently in advance of the service call. The per diem charges are:
$32.50/day Monday - Friday
$40.00/day Weekends & Holidays
Travel Time
Actual hours traveled are charged at the appropriate rate
as shown in the table above, on a portal-to-portal basis.
Travel and Living Expenses
All travel and living expenses are charged separately at cost. These are to be interpreted as company car, rental car, airplane, bus, taxi, limousine, tolls, etc., as well as lodging, laundry, telephone and incidentals. These will be itemized on the invoice. Current mileage rate when a personal or company car is used for travel is $ .485 per mile, or the current IRS business travel allowance, whichever is greater.
Night Shift
Night shift shall be billed at the above Saturday/Overtime rate. No premium is charged for night shift if arranged in advance.
Time Tickets
The service representative will offer a timekeeping record to the Buyer’s representative for signature to verify starting and ending times on the job. If a signature cannot be obtained for reasons such as a Buyer representative’s refusal to sign, or absence, the time ticket shall in any case be accepted by the Buyer as proof of service performed for billing purposes. All in-plant time will be billed excluding meal times.
Billing Procedures
All service work, unless arranged in advance, is billed on a Time and Material basis.
Service Report
If requested by Buyer, a copy of technician’s service report will be provided to the requestor of service with the job invoice.
Telephone Consult
HII will provide reasonable telephone support at no charge. If that support continues for an extended period, HII reserves the right to request a PO for ongoing support at the above published rates.
